I love pancakes!
When I’m still young, my mom or my daddy usually make this snack for us.
The traditional pancake that I love when my mom put syrup or honey topping on it.

Somehow I miss those moments. Hehehe..

Today, before my friends (Priski and Amanda) watch Flight movie that played by Denzel Washington at XXI studio in Ciputra World (CW) mall, we went to Pancious.

I knew Pancious since years ago in Jakarta.
And I like it!

And in CW, we have it just a while ago. So today, I eager to visit this place and have a good a little meal.

The menus’ will be caramel fudge pancake and coco baileys pancake .
For the caramel fudge, I love the delicate taste of the fudge. Make me want to eat it over and over again. The caramel too!

For your information, I love sweet foods. Hahaha..

And for the coco baileys, you can choose for the ice cream topping which are vanilla, chocolate and cookies&cream . But for the cookies and cream, you need to pay more about IDR. 5,000 . The taste is good yet the baileys flavor, u barely can taste it since they put it so little. The chocolate syrup tasted more than the baileys. Still, u can try it. Still worthied to eat too. For the price will started from IDR. 39,000 exc. tax. And the price also depends how many pancakes that you want or you want it made as many layers of crepes . Tasty huh?

Overall, I like their foods and they also have many options for mojito varieties.

So, just try it if you want to. You won’t regret! #grin .

This Tenshin Han, I will give 2.5 stars from 5 stars. Perhaps I’m a meatlover that’s why I give 2.5 stars. The soup is tasty yet not much of meats. You will only find crabstick (surimi) that fried with the fried egg. The price IDR. 19,000 (included tax) also reasonable since the portion is quite big.

But for its harumaki, I will give 4 stars. It’s so tasty and not too greasy. So you better not missed it!

And even for the drinks, they will give you in a jumbo glass. Just like venti size at starbucks. The atmosphere also good (for me) at here.

I like the interior of this place. As you see above, It’s a hole with sakura’s pattern. And a first time, I was thinking it’s a mirror at there. The ambience is so cozy and they have moderate space for many people. The services from the waiters and waitresses are fast. But for someone, who doesn’t like a place that make people see you in the restaurant, I think you won’t like this place.

As you see at this picture, they have glass window that allow any people who pass by this restaurant will able to see you inside its. Somehow, I enjoy this place since I can see many people outside. Kinda silly, huh? Hahahaha….

Well, for food, I believe I ever make a review before. But I will make another review about any food at this restaurant after this.

Well, I only have one word.

Unclean.

Yet somehow,it’s not really clean because of too many people who are trying to eat at here yet lack of responsiveness of waiters.

But for the food, you have to try it. Not because of it’s really totally delicious.

The food price is totally cheap.

Can you imagine, for 1 portion calamary, 1 portion sweet sour clam, 1 portion grilled grouper, 4 ice tea, and 4 portion of rice, you only have to pay about IDR. 60,000. It’s totally cheap!

I almost fainted when they told us to pay that much. How come it is so cheap. My first negative thinking was I will get stomach ache after ate it yet I’m fine until now. So no stomach ache and I already went there for twice and still no stomach ache.

So, I think, maybe, for backpacker, you can try this place. It’s cheap, mate!

The place will be in front of hotel pavilijoen  at Pasar Genteng. And it will be opened start from 5PM – 11 PM.

Ikan Tongkol Rica – Rica and Onigiri-chan (hikaruRKB collection)

I love fish especially seafood.

My nickname is cat since I love fish so much.

One of my favorite will be swordfish. In Indonesia we called it ikan tongkol.

A place that I can find it has a delicious swordfish cuisine will be this Pujasera Anda at Panjang Jiwo area nearby with Tenggilis area at south Surabaya. This place is for a student and family food court. The place is moderately big. Not really big one yet the place is kinda good. Suitable with the prices that they offer to us. It will started from IDR. 3,000 – 20,000. So, you can imagine, cheap place with a good food. You can put this place as one of your list especially you have a low-budget.

And you can see at here, they also offer you very cheap fresh juice and for the regular size its only cost IDR.4,000 – 5,000 and jumbo one will cost IDR. 8,000 – 10,000 .

Three words to express this place :

I Loveeeeeee Hachi-hachi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehehehehehe.. I already want to make a review about foods at here. I have some menus that I love. One is Spicy Stir Noodle and Dragon Roll Sushi. And I think it will be added with this Tower Sushi. I also love their Cold/Hot Green Tea.

So, I can say that this place will be one of my favorite place. Although the place is crowded yet the atmosphere still okay. Not like in XO Cuisine Express that I already mentioned before. The service also good. So far, I don’t have anything to complain about this place. The price kinda bit expensive yet still affordable. It will be started from IDR. 30,000. I also already made a review about sushi hana. For the atmosphere maybe I will like Sushi Hana yet this place also not that bad. I still can enjoy my sushi comfortable.

So, let’s make a review about my favorite foods and beverage at this place.

I hate bitter drink or food. But at Hachi-hachi, the bitterness is not that bad for their green tea. It taste good and somehow if you can make me love something that I hate, so it means totally good. Yeah I know, taste will come out differently for many people yet my friend told me (usually) if I said something good but actually I don’t like that food/drink so it means its good. Hahahahahaha….. So, I love their cold green tea. Even the hot one too.

This sushi maybe will become my youngest brother, Rendy, favorite too. He doesn’t like sushi since he hates raw food. But for the dragonroll sushi, it is not raw and inside it they put crab stick (fried one), mayonnaise butter, cucumber and on the top they put tobiko (fish egg the raw one yet it still delicious) and crunchy thingy from flour and some seasonings. This dragonroll tastes awesomely good!

This one is onemust-item that you must try at Hachi-hachi. The portion quite big so you can eat it for two people. It taste kinda spicy yet you can ask the waiter/waitress to tell the chef to made it not so spicy if you can’t handle one.

For the next one isTower Sushi. It is a raw sushi. If you don’t like raw fish or anything like that, don’t try it.

But for me, it taste good! Awesomely good!

The salmon not tastes fishy and it is so fresh.

When you eat it, somehow, you want it more and more. Too bad they only give us 6 pieces. Hahahahaha…

For the sauce, it taste great! They put some lemongrass into japanese ketchup. Love it!

You must try it for sure!

It is worthy to try it!

Wow… I think I already put many foods for this restaurant. Hahahaha.. It means this place is good! Awesomely good, I think!

Chicken is always be a good optional for anyone who loves meat. It is easy to eat and no worries about the fat than beef or pork. Chicken is one of my top 5 meats that I love. That is why, I’m totally adore any places that could make me eat vegetables like I eat meats. So, maybe the review mostly talk about the meats at this WordPress. Hahahaha….

In Galaxy Mall, Surabaya, at their food court, you can find this Chubo – Chubo Restaurant . This restaurant has a japanese concept. They have many bentos’ menu and some snacks that from Japan. The price also affordable. For the food, it will be started from IDR. 15,000. The place is small yet the taste of food also great. One of my favorite will be this chicken grilled bento. With IDR. 23,000 you already get this menu.

It taste good and the value with the price is equal. So, you can try it if you want to.

I love macaroon!!

So that’s why I bought these macaroon from this Sweetiescafe. I bought blueberry macaroon and tiramisu macaroon. I took them away since it was late at that time after I watched The Raid : The Redemption .

Yet the taste of these macaroon totally not as what I expected. I pay it for IDR.9,800 for each macaroon. So sad..

It’s not that big and the taste is not really good one. The blueberry not really taste like blueberry. I even taste coconut too much. And for the tiramisu, I think it tasted like vanilla. No coffee or anything. It’s kinda disappointing me so much since I’m so excited when at last I can find macaroon at that time. Too bad..

I hope I can find the best place for the macaroon soon in Surabaya. My friend recommends meIgor’syet until now I don’t have time to go to Igor’s. Anyone who are willing to go to Igor’s for me and buy that delicious macaroon (based on my friend opinion) ? Hehehehe….

XO Cuisine Experience Place Review

Hi guys!!

It’s been a while that I absence to put anything at here.Due to my tight schedule, I almost have no time to do anything. I’m not an actress yet as ordinary person, I have so many tasks from my boss. And today, this Tuesday, finally, I have time to put anything at this WordPress account again! Yipee!! Hehehehehe…..

Today, I will make a review for XO Cuisine Express restaurant at Surabaya Town Square (Sutos ). I think this XO Cuisine Express is under the same company with XO Suki. Yet, I think I will be preferred to choose XO Suki than this XO Cuisine Express.

Why?

The atmosphere quite will be the same like Quali yet Quali theme is for middle market. XO Cuisine Express should be for middle up market. The price started from IDR. 50,000 which is they should have better environment for the restaurant. Although the taste of food quite good yet the price it seems not priceless for me.

Somehow, I’m a value-based perception person for buying anything. That is why I’m kinda not really like the price of the food at here. They have some promotion for BCA credit card holder where is you can pay 1 for 2 food items. But since I’m not a BCA credit card holder, I found it not very important for me. They should have more banking to get this kind of sales promotion. Not everyone use BCA just like me.

It makes me sad somehow. Hahahahahaha…

Actually, this restaurant have many varieties kind of foods. That is why I’m so sad. Coz I think it will be expensive though if you want to buy many foods at the same time. So, at that time, I only ordered 4 kind of foods. For the review of the food, I put it at another post since this post only for the place not for my food experience at this place.

And another thing that I don’t really like is its too crowded! When you pay something and it is expensive enough, I bet all of you want a cozy atmosphere.

One of my favorite place to travel is Hong Kong. Hey, I’m a woman, so I like to sightseeing and shopping. So one of places which good for those is Hong Kong. Although the best and tasty food is in Medan, Indonesia (trust me, mate! Medan is totally awesomely good for culinary), Hong Kong also have many incredible snacks/foods. One of it is this snack. I don’t remember what it calls in Hong Kong, so just see it by this picture.

One of the places which is selling this snack is Gei Dan Jai. You can find at many malls in Surabaya. But I will tell you my experience from the square kiosk which is at siwalankerto street just in front of Petra Christian University Surabaya.

They have many varieties for dough and filling.
For dough they are having original, chocolate, cheese, strawberry and oreo. For filling they are having chocolate, mocca, raisin, oreo, cheese and strawberry.
It tastes delicious when it fresh from the oven.
The prices will be started from IDR. 9,000 – 15,000.

And you also see at here how Ardine like this gei dan jai and love to be a consumer evangelist for it. Hehehe..
